Wapsie Valley Creamery, Inc. is seeking an Accountant that is responsible for keeping financial records updated, preparing monthly reports, reconciling bank statements daily, and entering data into accounting software programs to process business transactions.  Assist Controller with daily activities, monthly inventory reports and Company fixed asset schedules.  Accountant will take on projects to assist management decisions in a variety of ways.  A successful Accountant will ensure that the Company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively.  Seeking a candidate with a 2 or 4 year degree in accounting and previous experience.  Please apply at the home office in Independence or email a resume to



Wapsie Valley Creamery, Inc. is seeking Production Employees for the Cheese and Whey Departments.  Shift hours vary depending on department.  Applicants need:  To be able to work with machinery, able to push 700-pound containers on wheeled carts; able to perform physically demanding job tasks, work as part of a cohesive team and follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.  Must be able to work weekends and Holidays as scheduled.  Please apply at the home office in Independence or email a resume to

Starting wage for production is $20.54/hr

2nd shift premium = $2.00 and 3rd shift premium = $1.50



Wapsie Valley Creamery, Inc. is seeking a Plant Project Engineer.  Responsibilities include:  making sure that the plant is capable of being in operation 24 hours a day 7 days a week by working with outside contractors and company personnel.  Includes problem solving when unusual problems arise to determine a solution to the problem.  You will be involved with all new projects that are being worked on in the plant, develop process improvements that will ultimately improve profitability by reducing cost, increasing capacity or improving product characteristics.  This position will have a strong focus on project management, maintenance, process safety and SOP documentation.
